WATCH THIS SPACE - we are currently building out our new website - so please have patience if some of the links and/or information on this site is not quite right. To see our new website grow - visit www.AustralianProduce.com
DELIVERY RESTRICTION - Due to the fungal disease known as "Myrtle Rust" - some lemon myrtle, anise myrtle, cinnamon myrtle, riberries and paperbark produce is prohibited from being delivered to or received by customers in States other than New South Wales and Queensland . As our industry better understands this disease, and how to safely control or eradicate it, restrictions are being reviewed and removed on a State by State basis. To check whether a restriction applies to you, please go to our new website and follow the link from the homepage.
Note that our produce is safe as none of it was harvested from plants affected by this disease.
Please help us protect our native plants.
This disease was introduced from overseas and first detected in 2010. It causes deformed leaves, heavy defoliation, dieback, stunted growth and even plant death. It affects both native & other plants growing in Australia, including those commonly grown in backyards. If you find someone who says they can supply any of this produce to you, we suggest you check where their produce was grown, and if necessary how it has been treated/checked to ensure it is not carrying this disease. If they can't answer your questions or do not know what you are referring to, then we suggest you think twice before purchasing. We think that the risk of a large fine and more importantly of spreading this disease does not outweigh the inconvenience of having to wait a little longer to ensure that long term our native plants are not maimed or killed and you can therefore continue to use and enjoy their wonderful produce.
